Tyler Louie riding a TRK 2.5

PluperfectArson 02-08-11 09:21 PM

Bailing for half of a not even minute video counts as riding now?

fixedgear80 02-08-11 09:37 PM

^^those risers are a bit too wide for tricks?

Or at least throwing it on the ground a bunch of times.

$329 MSRP and worth every penny.

Man they jacked the price up!! but hell.. those welds look so much smoooother!

TejanoTrackie 02-08-11 11:00 PM

Can anyone tell me why all the Leader aluminum track frames have threaded holes just above the dropout slots?

fixedgear80 02-08-11 11:05 PM

Racks, Fenders? I know that I would ride one a size or two larger just to get away from the "chaos"=HT+DT+TT meeting at the headtube. Show me a 58 cm size Scrod..plz

Lilcphoto 02-08-11 11:11 PM

So as I am putting together a new frame of mine, I've come across a predicament. Do I re-use the existing FSA ZS3 headset which looks to be a bit rough around the edges, or do I invest in a new headset just to be on the safe side...

I am looking for a Zero Stack headset, not an inset headset correct?

Photos to follow once everything is together... Don't want to spoil all the fun.

P.S: Anybody out there make a leader badge that doesn't look like a piece of tin?

Scrodzilla 02-08-11 11:21 PM

Damn...you got a purple one?

You need a zero stack, that's right. As long as the cup/bearing interface is ok, you can reuse. You should be able to get a new headbadge from Leader.

I am not too sure, but did Leader make any geometry adjustments on this new 725?

How would I get one?

Das Stig 02-09-11 05:27 AM

aesthetically a big improvement imo.

although I've got to say I never like other companies celeste rip-offs

jasonnc80 02-09-11 07:49 AM

I know I just bought my 721 but I hope they don't leave out us tall folks for their new frames, saw 58 was the biggest size on their site atm :(

The chainstays are flattened so it will accept any crankset and the welds are smoothed out but the geo is the same. Also, the stays are a little shorter now so you can slam that rear wheel no matter what size you've got.

happy - contact Leader here:

Of what? Bianchi doesn't own seafoam green.

Lilcphoto 02-09-11 11:24 AM

Just one more day before everything is up and ready.

I tried out the white deep-V's and I have to say it looks superb, though I am very proud of my newly built wheelset (*photos to follow soon) I have a new project that I will undertake regarding the Deep-V's

I just hope this sun can stay out a bit longer here in PDX

Scrodzilla 02-09-11 11:26 AM

Dude, I love that purple.

I was hunting ever since I saw it... I didn't know it was a limited run, and when one popped up on eBay buy it now I jumped. It has quite a few dings but unless you wrap your lock with a cloth it seems like its inevitable. Either way I am damn proud of it, looks amazing.

BTW scrod, do those FOER 41 stickers come off?

Scrodzilla 02-09-11 11:58 AM

They certainly do.
