Yes sir.
Thursday the wheels come so it should be good to roll by then.
I also need to cut the steerer tube (corrected), but I want to wait till i sit on it first to make sure I have the correct height.

You mean cut the steerer tube?

Wish I woulda known you wanted a GR2, I have a lightly used one I woulda sold for cheap. I'm gonna put a Wabi wheelset on my 722 as well.

haha, yes steerer tube. I have been working 12 hour shifts for the past week straight w/o a day off so my brain is a bit messed right now.

How did you like the GR2? I figured for $30 it was worth the risk (had good reviews too).
The wabi set seemed like a homerun at price, weight, and reviews.

also, If I like the GR2 I will probably take it off your hands to throw on my Giant TCX cyclocross bike.

For $30, it's definitely worth it. I liked it, better than I liked my Charge spoon, but that doesn't mean much. It does have a lot of good reviews on nashbar, one of the reasons why I tried it, and from my understanding it's close to an Arione, if not a direct copy. Hairnet says it's not the most durable of saddles and I'd probably agree based on the materials used, but I haven't ridden it extensively. And again, it's $30 so what can we expect?

I'm going with the Wabi wheelset after getting some feedback from users (all the reasons you listed) and also because the shop is about 10 minutes away from me. That's a win win.

He wants the sizing for the 61, which isn't listed in the chart for some reason.

looking good! I was going to get silver but last minute changed my mind and got black, seems either one would have been a good choice. what crankset you going with?

For now ill be reusing everything from my scrambler but eventually itl all be phased out for better stuff
itl have origin8 everything, it was cheap for my first bike

Future plans are
Sugino messenger crank & bb
fsa orbit headset
thomson stem & post
deda rhm 02 bars
saddle is undecided, wanna test drive some first

Later on ill get new wheels of a23s with novatec hubs & either lasers or bladed spokes, 20 front 24 rear

right now i cant wait to just get everything together and ride it all around!

I'm seriously considering purchasing a 722TS frameset from city grounds. That deal is so hard to pass up. But I'd like to hear about why that frame is better than my current SE Lager frame. I see it has chain tensioners at the rear dropouts, very nice. But I also see it has no fender mounts or bottle cage mounts, right? I don't use fenders but someday I might I guess. My Lager has mounts for front and rear and it has bottle cage mounts on the down tube.
I think they're both made from CroMo but only the Leader is butted? And the Leader is hand tig welded whatever that is...

Also bummed because I would've gotten raw color but I have missed the boat there. So white would be my next choice, and then I'd slowly start changing all my silver components/wheels to black.

But yeah, help me understand why the 722TS is way better than my Lager frame please. Thanks.

It's a little sexier.

Heh yeah man, it's a LOT sexier. And it's a good deal. I just thought it might be cool to point out some of the main reasons it's a superior frame. And again, I agree that it is. At least, I know I'd prefer to have the Leader over the Lager any day.
But the chain tensioners and the looks are really the only things that jump out at me.

No one wants to tell me what benefits I could expect from the 722TS versus my current ride?

Where are these Leader frames made?

Apart from the appearance and slight geo differences, it's probably gonna feel the same.

Done!
61 leader 722ts frame
nashbar carbon fork
nashbar carbon seat post
nashbar track drop
wabi wheels w/ gator skin tires
SRAM S300 crankset
Ritchey Comp stem
Cane Creek 40 headset
Deda Bar Tape
nashbar saddle
wellgo pedals
Tektro brake & lever
extra KMC white chain I had lying around (hence the color)

Thanks for the help and advice.
It wasn't too difficult, the headset was the biggest pain. Not bad I think for my first build.
