Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Screw that. When I was nine years old, I first witnessed vultures eating the guts of a dead road kill donkey. Hork on that with dinner.

If the "bike owner" didn't want the bike, why did he/she have to chain it up. Break that chain and it will be stealing. Nuff said.

No, I'm hogging it to myself, damn it.

Bikes get abadoned all the time. Who is to tell whether the owner wants it or not?

Maybe the person who owned said bike is a missionary who was killed for trying to stuff religion into the mouths of others. Really, enough has been said. This may be something taken to the Politics/Religion sub-forum as it does not belong here. I don't crap in your shoes, and I would appreciate you not crapping in this forum.

I own the bike. Yep. It's mine. I defy anyone here to prove otherwise.

And by the way, I don't want it anymore.

But I don't have the key.

Have at it boys.

Whether you claim its yours or not and its not yours you don't liberate those with a stealing intent. You will admit that the person who came up with this thread (Mayonnaice) wanted to be stopped from stealing. What this means is that he/she knew "to free" that bike (which does not belong to him/her) is what is called STEALING.

Ok, really, I'm begging people. Whoodie (if that's even his real name ) isn't going to change his mind (or her as the case may be). People need to stop responding. It's silly really. Don't feed the trolls folks, just move on.

all we want are trolls who aren't religious, who don't ride 53-11, and who can stash with the best of 'em.

When I was a kid we didn't have biccable locks. No sirree! When we wanted to liberate a bike we had to gnaw at ropes with our teeth mind you! When we were done we couldn't even pedal! We didn't have pedals in those day! They were velocpedes...that's right, we had to ride our bikes like the flintstones. When we got caught "liberating" bikes we got beaten over the heads with clubs. The police enjoyed it. Back then "liberating" bikes was considered a high crime against the queen. and then there was the snow...(trailing off incoherently)

<insert grumpy old man voice> ...and then we rode that damn liberated bike uphill both ways...on flat tires...ha, we didn't have tires back then, we were just happy to have the old rope that we gnawed through to wrap around the bare rim....and we liiiiked it!....

Bikes: A whole bunch-a bikes.

I hate to go back on topic again, believe it or not I read this entire thread whew...

Anyway it remindes me of an old car with a tree growing out of it in these beautiful woods not to far from my home. I liked to just go there and look at it. Then one day it was gone. Thats all.

I personally prefer A.Troll. She flirted with me once, and boy, is she cute! Man, I sure felt loved. (sighs with love in her eyes )

Hasn't he stole that bike yet!??!! If the thing has been in the weather for three years then there can't be anything left of it. I would be complelty rusted!
