Nice grocery getter!

TheBikeRollsOn 07-12-11 08:11 PM

I can't decide if I love or hate that bike. I just don't... get it. It's like, what if you need to pick some things up from the grocery store on the way home from the track?

Who knows. The bike would look pretty cool if he/she took all the bags, racks, and panniers off it...

I mean, I love a bike with racks, fenders, panniers, etc, but I just can't imagine how they make sense for that bike. I actually like the way it looks, I just know that it isn't practical given the frame geometry and whatnot.

Hothead286 07-12-11 08:25 PM

I remember that bike from these forums...

Sebster 07-13-11 02:03 AM

if i remember correctly, the user that posted that image was just trying it out once to commute for ****s and giggles and said it actually wasn't terrible!

LesterOfPuppets 07-13-11 02:16 AM

Give it road drops with road levers and I'd roll it to the store for sure!

Well maybe some more sensible pedals too. I'd hate to clack through the Fred Meyer's with cleats.

Sweet chock!

Of course I'm prone to hauling 18 lbs of cat food and 5 lbs of human food home on my Pinarello.

i hope i see this bike the next time i'm in ames.

please tell me you raced this in the minidrome last week.

nope my schedule didn't allow for it, i wouldn't have riddin anyway, i'm not really that strong of a rider. i ride quite a lot but its just hopping around downtown as i work, live & play all within a 5-10 block radius. to a large extant fixed gear bike's are like extra expensive lego's for me.
