Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think we need another Jackass thread. I think it's very educational, in a "don't ever do this to your bike" kind of way.

if you ride it fast enough you can travel back in time to when you decided to make your bike look like this and stop yourself.

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

You all can have a jackass bike of the day thread if you all promise: no fighting at all in the thread and that the first instance of it, will result in the locking of it.

I've got to say I've really missed the jackass thread.

I went ahead and changed the title of this one but as Dannihilator said, it needs to stay fun or it's

Would "healthy debates" be considered fighting?

Nope. When insults start getting thrown, it's over.

'no insults' should be added to the title.
