Currently trying to build a fixed gear.
Its been a while since ive been on these forums. I had a GT road bike and got hit last year by a truck. I feel that I need to get back on a bike so I just bought a eighthinch scrambler frame off of ebay. I just want to know exactly what pieces i need to complete my build? If someone could help break down what else needs to be bought besides the frame I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

By the way what is the deal with things such as https://cgi.ebay.com/2010-ORIGIN-8-68...item1e6111b429
What does the 68, 73mm mean for the bottom bracket? as well as when im buying a crankset i see one that is 165mm 46? Is there a good combo setup?

The 68mm or 73mm is the width of the BB shell.
For a current road/track bike it is almost guaranteed to be 68mm, English threaded.
The 165mm is the length of the crankarms. The correct length is dependent on the length of your legs. Average people seem to do well with with lengths from 165mm to 175mm. Shorter cranks can help avoid pedal strike when cornering, a consideration when riding fixed.

dont forget the brake lever(s), headset spacers (if needed), chainring bolts, crank arm dust caps, brake cables and cable housing, bar tape and bar end plugs, and foot retention (cages/straps or retrogression/holdfast type straps (if any of these don't come with something purchased above)
