Looking for a new pursuit frame

Ive been sent on an impossible task to find a Lo Pro Pursuit style frame for my brother. Is there anything else in the same price range as the affinity frame or are they monopolizing that market? I have searched hi and low and just havent been able to find anything besides that one frameset. Any help at all would be great, thankyou.

Affinity is probably your cheapest option...

Is it really, thats a really shame, im/we're not exactly the biggest fans of the frames look. I personally like the Mash frames but he doesnt want to spend 900 dollars on a aluminum pursuit bike.

Livery has some pursuit frames (though they are kind of expensive for what they are):

I like the MK1.

Sometimes it's easier to save more money and buy what you want than to search for a long time then compromise.

Wow, that MK2 is beautiful, the MK1 is very nice as well.

As for Carleton, i didnt mean that the 900 hundred is too much to afford, just too much to spend, i dont know if that makes any sense? I know what you are saying though, thats my philosophy too, id rather save up for a little bit longer and put in a bigger investment than regret a purchase for years and years and years. I was just looking for a pursuit styled steel frame that can be locked up outside but still look pretty.

Bikes: looks like a specialized crux now

I was going to recommend that fillet brazed frameset from livery till i saw the price, and by the time I set aside the money for one I can ride, it should be gone.

Pursuit bikes tend to be the most expensive, they are for track what tt is for road.

Those holes have slugs in 'em, no structual problem there. It's common practice in the custom car/bike world.

The Dodici Special is cool. Most of the builds I see online are uber tarck, though. Meh.

I see vintage pursuit frames go up on eBay pretty often. The Lo Pro is a fine frame as well.
