affordable track frames w threaded headsets

So I really like threaded headsets. I used to have a fuji obey frame and loved it, but sold it...

wondering what the best bet for track frames with an old-school look, possibly lugged, but most importantly with a threaded headset. I paid 300 for the fuji, wouldn't want to pay much more than that.

Theres lots of unbranded pake track frames on ebay with 1" headtubes, but they only come w. threadless forks... and the lugged kilo frames are way more than i'd want to pay.

-is it possible to find a threaded fork that would fit the pake?

I was just going to bring up the Crosslake unbrand Pake...seems like the most reasonable choice. Forks could be had at your LBS or co-op for $20-40.

Or you could buy the IRO Angus fork but make sure that the steerer is long enough for ya.

Bikes: Geekhouse Deerfield, GT Edge Ti, Spooky Skeletor, TET Track, Ritchey P-650b, Bridgestone MB-3

Do you already have parts or something?

If so, you could buy the IRO Angus complete for $399 and sell off all the parts you don't need (wheels, crankset, etc) and get yourself back under $300 total cost.

angus would be a good idea but they don't have my size.

How are kilo frames? I'm thinking 345 for the lugged frame is actually kindof reasonable considering headset included
or Pake
or Angus

how much does fork specs change your bike ride? dunno about those straight bladed forks

Depends on what frame you're using.

But the combination of Pake, which has a steepish head angle, and the IRO Angus fork, which has an offset of 43mm will result in a very shaky shaky ride.
