Vivalo...what else?

Hi all! I just found my wish-bike in gestalten's book "velo - bicycle culture and design". Can you help me finding out more about this bike ? The frame seems to be a 2002 silver Vivalo...what else ? Wheels ?

Thanks!

you cant be sure if its a 2002 or not because vivalo's are not production frames. the parts seem to be the usual deep-v's, risers, nothing that should be too hard to find.

What about the bike do you like, what parts make you want to find that exact bike?

Just like the geometry and look of it...It's not that I want to find that exact bike...I live in Switzerland and there is not a chance I will find a Vivalo frame here. I might as well buy a vintage silver race bike on ebay (tigra, peugeot, gitane, swiss olympics, ?), and find similar wheels and risers...

You probably won't match the geo that way and if geo is really want you are looking for then just order a bike online.

Puegeot's are really laid back. BUT if you ever run across a Puegeot track frame I WILL BUY IT FROM YOU NO MATTER WHAT I WANT ONE SO BAD!!!!!11!1!!!1!!!

Looks like philwood high flange hubs laced to black unmachined deep v's with black spokes and nipples (dt swiss maybe?)....
Tires look like vittoria rubino pro's....
Sugino 75 cranks....

Weird comment considering people on these forums wet themselves over anything & everything.
I'm not a huge fan of Vivalo, but truth be told they are very nice frames. Black Phil Wood hubs laced to black deep v's with black spokes; black riser bar; chrome stem; Rubino tires, Sugino 75 crankset, etc.

Good luck.
