Al-Jazeera is doing a 10-12 minute minute documentary for a show called "Moraselo Jazeera" - "Al-Jazeera's Correspondants Show".
The topic of this documentary is "Tattoo Culture". We are looking for hardcore tattoo enthusiasts. Individuals with full body tattoos or people who have full sleeves etc...
* We want to be able to follow one or two people and have them talk to us about their tattoos, their influences, what it means to them, what they think it means to their culture, lifestyle etc. We would like to interview them as well as follow them for a "day in the life of..."
* It would be ideal if we could film them getting a new tattoo or new addition to their body.
* We also want to get a band (preferrably rock /punk or goth) to talk to us about their tattoos and film them performing.
* We are also looking for Tattoo Historians or Experts or people who or are extremely knowledgeable in that field.
* Interviews will be conducted in New York in January 2006. (depends on availability)
* While there is no payment for these interviews, you will receive a VHS copy of the show when it airs. Al-Jazeera TV is broadcast to over 50 million people all over the world on Sattellite.
Please send all inquiries or leads to Randa Eid, Assistant Producer, eid@aljazeera.net
Thanks so much !

To my friend who asked who is doing the line work (sorry for the month delay in reply) George Campise at Everlasting Tattoo is doing all my work...
All the background on my legs are finished....
And have about 5 more line sessions before the suit is all lined. I'm really looking forward to getting my armpits done
This week is top of the shoulders...Always good fun. Keep posting pics...so really nice stuff in here...see ya

Wow - looking really good dirtydan!
Couple of things I'm wondering:
1) What percentage of your body will be covered when it's done?
2) Rough estimate of the price?
Forgive me if other people have asked - I'm too lazy to search...

Price...Well I'm already in the 5 digits. I would say, when all is said and done. Close to 30k.

finally getting around to putting these up....
A memorial for my friend who was hit and killed by a car a year and a half ago, it's a picture he drew for a game he made, called Monkey Madnes. It was my favorite card, and his nickname was monkey, so it all seems fitting.

my devotion to electronics, ohms law circles:

having the left leg spell PIE was purely a coincidence. much more to be done to these legs, inluding images of circuit boards, pi, and binary...

Its very nice to see a whole body suit done in the same theme. If I could turn back time, I would do the same.

This is my first and only tattoo so far. It's the only idea that stuck in my head long enough for me to go and get it done. I know some people on here are completely against the war and I might get comments on this, but whatever, I don't wanna turn this thread into a politcal debate, just wanted to show off what I had done. I got it done a few months ago here in jersey, and I wouldn't reccommend the place that did it. It's a very simple tattoo and the chick that gave it to me screwed it up.
