what is a this frame worth?

hi...

do you guys mind these "what is my bike worth?" threads here? i searched around on the subject some but couldn't find much.

anyway, i made the mistake of buying a se racing premium ale online that turned it did not fit me so good so i never rode it. i got this bike because i wanted something with a 1" threaded fork/headset & a lugged steel frame & it seemed like a good deal at the time for not much above 1/2 msrp. but since they still are all over the interwebs at big discounts, i figure it will be pretty hard to sell mine even tho it is new.

the components on it are sufficient for my purposes so i am thinking seriously about just buying another frame (hopefully get the right size this time around) & swapping everything over.

i've found several frames i like but before buying anything i need to figure out what i should ask for or could hope to get for a new 54cm '09 premium ale frame & fork on cl or ebay & thought i could ask the bikeforums ss/fg experts. naturally i want to come as close as possible to breaking even but i don't want to be unrealistic. i think there was a premium brew (the ale's predecessor) frame listed in the classifieds here when i first started lurking a few mos ago but it must have sold or dropped off so i can't use that to compare.

thanx in advance for any help...

seeing that its $550 complete, the frame is lugged and nice rear dropouts and such, you can try to scam someone and strip the paint to raw then throw it on fleabay as a nice lugged track frame for a good $200-300. the ale frameset is actually really aesthetically pleasing.
