Yeah, but unfortunately they are the majority of SSFG riders around the East Side. Pylea, which LBS do you go to?

only time I see a fixed gear near uvm is someone pushing it past the library, in flip flops

Man this is creeping me out. I go to Cory the Bike Fixer or Wheel & Sprocket, depending on where I am.

hahah, creep out questions are over. Cory's for me as well. I would have just sent PM but don't have 50 posts yet. Anyway, have fun riding in MKE. If you see a Kona Paddy Wagon on the road with bullhorns give a shout out.

pylea 04-05-11 12:14 PM

Oh yeah I'll be sure to shout "NI HAO GAO JIAN" if I see anyone on a Paddy Wagon with bullhorns...

Was that snarky? Oh well. Maybe you can be my bike buddy. Cuties only though.

Oooh, good one. I do this a lot. Maybe not much of a confession on the internetz, though.

Lets hope we don't get a lot of these confessions. But I have to say, I see a lot of that around here too.

I like to have long drawn out should-be-in-a-pm conversations in otherwise fun threads too.

On Topic: I think tri-spokes are horrendously ugly and no where near as street-swag-y as aerospokes.

You are completely right.

On Topic: I get a giant grin on my face when someone comments on my bike or does a double take.

I helped my friend sell stock Kilo TT wheels for $90, too. That's a lot more than I would have paid for them.

pylea 04-05-11 02:41 PM

Wtf where did my post go? I am trying to sell them for $75. I guess I don't feel as bad now.

bikessuck 04-05-11 03:53 PM

I get depressed when I look at myself and realize I'm riding a fixed gear conversion with cut off shorts, a cycling cap, a mustache, and a chrome bag..

She sold hers unridden, with tires + cog + lockring.

cal_gundert05 04-05-11 04:06 PM

I may have locked myself out of my house--I'll have to see if the door's unlocked when I get back.

UPDATE: Locked :(

Sometimes I impulse bid on eBay auctions. I bid on a Concor Supercorsa at a really good price until I realized shipping was ~$20. Ruh roh.
