A 700C tire probably won't clear the fork.

New fork, wheel and then different geometry. Worth more as is.

probably won't work from dt interference but even if it does, you'll give it effective mtb angles and it will handle like ****.

It's probably already tight clearances with a 650. Pursuit geometry is the envy of many. I'd try to find a decent 650 wheel if I were you rather than replace the fork and risk giving it less aggressive geometry.

Oh, and do tell - what kind of frame is it? pics? (i friggin love pursuit frames)

And let it be known as the first and only situation in which fixed gear riders rode something that wasn't the best idea for street use.

Not saying it's the first example of impracticality in the history of riding track bikes on the street, just saying pursuit geo - especially real pursuit geo - is really stupid.

I'd say any standard "track bike" would be much more practical riding around any given city than this:

Bikes: looks like a specialized crux now

They are also not cost effective and limiting in tires and tubes if you get a flat, you have to have several extras lying around so you dont have to order them and are off your bike, in case the local lbs does not have any. I lived in several small towns where that happened

I got tired of dealing with 650c wheels after about a year. Sold it
