cheap japanese track stuff

i found this website that offers used track frames and parts. the prices
are low even if you consider shipping. that panasonic
frame for $330 is nice for example.

Unfortunately nothing my size, that Kiyo looks great... I dig the ultraman visor on the guy in the image. I also love Babelfish translations. How can you not want to buy a frame that " Combat efficiency raises. It is close to the load
Because it is geometry, being suited for the competition of distance system
It is, probably will be. In any case lightness of the surprise"

I think shipping from Japan is REALLY high though. Did they mention whether or not they would even ship to the states?

err..not really. I just thought it might be a nice site to watch if something unique
pops up and then go through the hassle to get it shipped. I think if
you ask in a friendly way they might do it.

asking would probably be the hardest part, as cavit8 illustrated

Just use the Japanese you've learned from anime:

"anta baka" <--- you are an idiot
"terebi o mimasu" <--- I watch TV
"zaten goku na tenshi o youni" <--- something about demon angels coming down from the sky/space

Shipping items to Japan is not all that bad, so I would guess -from- Japan would be the same. Affordability of shippin has much to do with our 'association' with the country.

It'd run you about $150US or so depending on speed o' delivery for frame & fork

Bikes: Pake Single Speed

I know when we looked to ship a complete bike to Japan, in a bike box and insured for $700, it was going to cost $300 via Fed Ex or DHL. I would expect it to cost even more from Japan.

no, I would agree with skitbra. Give us the site for an "approximate exchange rate." Exact is for wussies.

Also, it's "anata wa baka desu" or informally (can you formally call someone an idiot?) "baka desu." The japanese usually drop pronouns like "you" or "I" (hell, originally, they didn't even have a word for "I". The word for "I" [watashi, or watakushi] actually means "personal affairs." Americans introduced the concept to them because they couldn't fathom a language not having a self-referential pronoun).

Haha, also, I think the line from evangelion is "zankoku na tenshi no you ni," which means "Like a cruel angel/emperor."
