I do that to a lot of forums I go to. Is there a problem with that? And I have a blog that I post reviews on, lighting setups, photoshoots I do, etc. This would be far from it.

Skill and practice.

That being said, there is an inverse relationship between how cool a job is to how much it pays. And it got old after a while.

Another reason I rarely post pics.
I shot naked chicks for a bit, the job is over rated. but you meet the most interesting people.
And if you are lucky go interesting places. Lot of the really interesting jobs, you might want to take a day job while you are there, but you did get to shot a run way show while you were there.

That's pretty ambiguous. Did you contact the MLB and NFL with your portfolio or do you have to know someone?

Dude, I'm not going to give a tutorial on how to do it. NFL, MLB, or any other sports organization doesn't care about individual photographers. They don't want to deal with it. They issue credentials only to organizations (generally major news or sports publications) that they want to have their players in. Remember, for all intents and purposes, these are private events.
