Funnily enough in this review they don't even BEGIN to mention whether the lock is secure or not, just how it looks and can be marketed.. d'oh. I guess thats why its bunched with a fruity set of pliers and a fantastically amazing new ipod.

That's because it's I.D. magazine's (a design magazine) Annual Design Review. They look at product design, meaning how it looks and its ergonomics. They're not qualified to test the efficacy of the lock.

I for one put design ahead of function whenever concievably possible. At least until I take the damn thing out of the package.
