The mayo cooks off and acts like butter basically. But the mustard doesnt. It seems to carmalize, creating a very nice mustard glaze type thing on the bread. Very good.

This is one of the things I've learned while studying in Italy on a budget. Another is that I miss my bike :(

Hahahahah, this is amazing. I taught MuffinMan how to make grilled cheese sandwiches with mayo.
It was life changing for him

I will have to try mustard.

yea, right?

what happens when you get fit, and then change your saddle? or your bars?

anyways

went to the doc and she thinks i have IT band syndrome and patellar tendonitis. she suggested taking some aleve, icing, and stretching while reducing mileage. she gave me a referral for a bike fit, and also one for physical therapy if the first stuff doesn't work.

it's also 68 deg and sunny today in seattle so FUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Most fitments give you measurement numbers, so when you change components you can also adjust the fit. How often do you change your saddle and bars? It's usually a one time thing for me.

Just take it easy. I had some IT Band problems as well. Don't force the riding, it'll just make **** worse. Stretching is huge, and get yourself one of those high density foam rollers.

im not a big fan of mayo, so that sounds kinda gross but im a fat bastard who loves him some food, especially weird food so im gonna have to give both a try

mustard sounds fantasmic, does the mayo impart any of its original flavorings?

Nicely done. I'm excited when I finish in the top 10%

I've also been considering changing my gender on Strava. I'd totally own against the ladies.

nope, it pretty much acts like butter, its kinda hard to describe (at least after the few drinks ive had) but is certainly worth doing. if you like food you will enjoy both mayo and mustard.

i used to think doing this kinda stuff was great, till i realized most of these dudes have usually been out for like 50 miles already and i usually had a lot more gas in the tank

Nope...he had just left school a block or two back.

all it proves is that you were riding harder than he was at those two infinitesimal moments in time.

"Bro?"

i didn't say it proved anything. Wait until you're 40+, though, and you'll understand.

Today...I had my second root canal in as many weeks, and this time I skipped the pain meds. Tempting to crack open a bottle of Patron I have stashed in the cupboard, though.

Today we ran a kick-off to the track season. Ridiculous turnout for us. Most fun I have ever had on a bike.

I won both my B races (miss-n-out and 5 lap scratch) with a pretty decently sized field. Got a few complements from a few guys that race nationally. About to ride FBC. Life is good.

Today I'm getting closer. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8381/8...0d729045_b.jpg

Oh, I also sold the s-works.

Dannihilator 04-25-13 08:34 PM

Today I had a good street ride. Tomorrow dirt jumping.

Nagrom_ 04-25-13 08:36 PM

Today I weighed in at my lowest since meds. 191.

They work.

Big time weight loss. Seems unnatural (kinda is).
I'll be climbing tomorrow(sadly).

When you come to the east bay with johnny (when he picks up his wheels), we're gonna go climbing.
You do not have a choice.
