Most likely North Park/Normal Heights/University.

Be on the lookout for retail spaces. We need all the sets of eyes we can get being on this side of the country.

Today I applied for a video game playtesting session. I hope I get it. Getting money for playing games. Seems like a good deal.

They were asking me about my favorite experiences in Halo, Call of Duty, and Battlefield, so I feel like my little pony isnt going to be tested...

I was a sort of semi-pro gamer for this racing game on the Xbox360 a few years ago. I was suppose to head down to Hollywood for a weekend and play for a spot to represent the USA in the WCG. The whole weekend was paid for, three nights at the Hilton, food, even the cost of travel with a $250 stipend, essentially all I had to do was show up. I was not old enough to go alone and by rule a guardian would have to accompany me at the event. The guardian's stay had to come out of pocket and wasn't covered by those hosting the event and it was that reason why I did not end up going.

WCG was so good. Loved it when the event was held in SF so many years ago. About the time cs 1.6 and WC3 were still played widely.

Today I flatted 4 times in the span of two hours, all for different reasons, across two bikes. Staple in rear tire of road bike, halfway to work; limped it home, swapped to fixed gear bike. Rear blowout hitting a nasty pothole way too fast about a mile from work, said **** it and rode it the rest of the way to work without stopping. Replaced with a new tube (last one), back together, just noticed it's flat again 10 minutes later -- there was a sliver of glass in the rear tire too that I didn't notice, even though I thought I checked pretty carefully. Guess not carefully enough. Replaced with a patched tube, back together. Just heard a pop, patch failed, **** bikes man. Out of tubes, patches, and motivation to fix it again.

Last night I picked up my Kilo from my LBS after getting it assembled, tuned, and getting a SS freewheel/cog installed. Took a quick ride around my neighborhood and realized how much I missed having a bike. Hopefully going to get out of work early enough to have some daylight left to ride to the beach.

I do for the most part, but I also ride in shoes that I care about and don't want them to get jacked up

today a college graduate whom i work with told me he never learned how to ride a bike.

how is this possible? its almost like people who say they cant swim. i was never taught anything, i jumped into a pool and moved my arms and legs around because i would sink. bikes are no different, once i realized going fast was the easiest way to keep my balance i just wanted to go faster
