Especially when you get older and people you know start dying off. Yesterday I went for a bike ride and just enjoyed living and being healthy. Today, I'll do the same. This is my daily therapy, and my body produces all the drugs I need.

Yeah, the problem is that the only person I can talk to about it is also a part of the reason I'm so depressed currently, and this person doesn't want to hear about it, because they're super depressed/hurt from the issue too.

:(

Hold it together dude.

Currently dealing with this myself too. Blows so much ATMO.

If more people start dropping off... I lost nine last year. If that happens every year I Wong know anyone pretty soon.

And thanks everyone. I'll be fine. I'm gonna find a shrink. I realized last night that I'm pretty ****ed in the head, and I need some help.

jdgesus 01-06-12 10:12 AM

and to keep with the depressing theme, my beard looks like **** today

Today I deleivered a load of bikes my co-workers donated to a place I volunteer at called Recycle Bikes for Kids. We repair bikes and give them away to any kid that wants a free bike.

RGNY 01-06-12 02:17 PM

very cool.

we have a local program that takes bikes/parts and teaches kids how to build. every year they have a convention to show of their builds and they get to keep the bike.

I grabbed another $199 frame/fork combo for a single speed.

don't judge me!

@street: not sure yet. last one came in chipped, but I was taken care of because of it. they don't bother me like they used to, as long as I get compensated!

yummygooey 01-06-12 03:10 PM

Dang dude.

hamfoh 01-06-12 03:18 PM

can't beat that price for a quality fork/frame!

BigglyPuff 01-06-12 03:42 PM

The box is banged up, but if nothing is wrong with the parts, no worries.

I had parts of my Fuji showing through the box when it got delivered. But luckily the bike was fine.

hamfoh 01-06-12 03:47 PM

yeah I could see the frame through the box, but I think outside of some truck dirt it's okay

Helped my friend build up his '54 Rudge Sports into a path bike... and of course... because we built a sunny day bike it is now raining.

jimmytango 01-06-12 05:31 PM

Thanks for the kind words. Today I'm actually pretty ok, partially thanks to support from forum members here and elsewhere, and IRL friends. The one person I thought I couldn't talk to about it ended up being one of the more supportive people I know. Funny how that worked out.

You should record your doorstep next time, like the video of the delivery guy who flips off the camera he knows is there and throws the box over the fence

Good to hear your doing better man. I tend to go through some stuff now and then, and my girlfriend suffers from severe anxiety and depression, so I have to go through it with her sometimes. Everything will even out eventually.

hamfoh 01-06-12 05:35 PM

what's funny is I was thinking that, because I'm pretty sure the USPS guy has been throwing my packages up to my deck from downstairs, because all my packages were EVERYWHERE when I came outside yesterday -- but I was home and nobody came upstairs (that I could hear)

'54 Rudge? Oh Mama! Pics???

xavier853 01-06-12 07:28 PM

Today, as you might have guess, I went to the photoshoot for my bikes, rode the Fiori for 25, made some adjustments on it, and rode about ~25miles. Good day. Beer time.

Dannihilator 01-06-12 07:35 PM

Today I got a good road ride in.

My thoughts are with you. Deal with the problem before it deals with you. From what you post you seem to have a very hectic/intense life/personality. Just remember that you have the ability to bring back a sense of balance in your life regardless of how dire or bleak your current situation is.

Keep riding. Put down the alcohol for a while. I'm sure you know it is only perpetuating your feelings.

Hectic doesn't begin to describe it. I've cut way back on booze and caffeine, and I'm gonna quit smoking. All of that should help.

You should look into Premier Pro, honestly it can work a lot better than Final Cut most times, especially if you're using a DSLR

Today I completed my longest ride, 40 miles, and fixed of course!

doesn't look like it, I bet if you called and made up some thing about the site messing up (regularly ****s up shipping for me) they'd honor it for a phone order

if not, citygrounds has the frame for 175

today I

took the pixie blue out for a 25 mile ride with friends and some other people who I ride with but don't really know. one of those jackasses who always swerves around hit ones of my friends wheels in the back and wiped him out.

722 handles the roads fairly well and I had risers on so the ride was nice, but it being in the 22lb category with those sun rims made me feel like it was heavy. I don't know, maybe it was a placebo effect but I felt like my Rush handled city rides a bit better, even though they're close to the same stuff. Too bad soma is all in on pearl white and khaki green
