today i was expecting a package from FedEx... Their delivery window is 9am to 8pm....

Ah FedEx... all too familiar
Today I: Drops + Cross... Didn't make it to the LBS to pick up bar tape, but that will keep me busy tomorrow. Super exited about the new setup. |

First ride back home from work at ~9 PM. Glad to say that this jacket is a god-send.

edit- And coffee is definitely not good for you. |
Yeah dude. Fast food sucks ass. Every time I eat some, I want to throw it up thirty minutes later. The only meat I try to eat is lean chicken breast or lean steak.
|
I have the same nauseated reaction, but I still eat it.
|
KFC always ****s me up big time..... everything else is meh.

I just got a bunch of parts for my SS MTB :D now im waiting for the wheels, chain, pedals, and rear brake pads. So excited haha
http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/...g/DSC_6832.jpg I have had the saddle, cranks, and stem for a long while now, but i have never used them before... So theyre new to me |
Today I made the decision to get a road bike instead of a car! Doing my research and if all goes well, will be buying my first FG tomorrow. I'll finally get to say screw the bus and ride to and from work, I'm pretty excited.

Installed a bottom bracket and cranks for the first time. The Leader is slowly but surely coming together. Posting pics in my build thread shortly :) |

I was curious because some people I know have decided to do a detox together but they haven't expressed what they plan to do after. Today I had a hell of a time adjusting my Raleigh's headset. It is a stock so-so h/s with oddly sized cups and seems to not have a sweet spot, so I have to keep it on the tight side. Fortunately, I also found a used Velo Orange roller bearing threaded headset. I am going to make the swap a.s.a.p. |
Today I went for a city loop ride with a couple of my friends on my newly built Soma Rush. I hadn't ridden in about 2 months so I thought I might have been a bit out of shape. Apparently not in as bad a shape as one of my friends though who ended up throwing up after attempting to climb one of steep hills. My friends called me and said they would be down to ride for an hour, but the ride ended up being almost three hours long. Had I known it was going to take that long I wouldn't have left the two sqrls in my house :D By the time I came back I had to drive them home, quite sad :(

Yeah I eat like I total fat kid.
I make sure to get all of my necessary nutrients (vitamins, minerals, esp. protein), mostly by having a varied diet but also with a small amount of nutritional supplements. I mack down on Snickers bars, donuts, carne asada burritos, pizza and beer on the regular though. Fast food FTW. Enjoying a post-commute breakfast burrito right now. nomnomnomnomnomnomn NOM. I should probably get to work. |

Lots of people travel and camp with tear drop trailers. I found a page from a guy that wants to do it with a bicycle.http://www.tinyhousedesign.com/2009/...for-a-bicycle/
I'm down for this if the trailer can be made light enough. Really, with the right gear range I don't see why it wouldn't work except for maybe going over mountains. |

I'm torn right now, I'm really digging the Fuji feather also looking at the cx. I like the idea of those two cause I can get it today at a local shop. If I order it online I'll be choosing between a kilo TT pro or a Windsor the hours (I know they're different, but I'm trying to keep an open mind for my first FG) i'll spend the serious money after I get the hang of FG's in general. What are your thoughts G? -djsfix |

Today was another good session on the dj'r.
|
when I see your DJ bike it makes me want to get one, but I love riding country roads and bustin mad whip skids too much
|
I've been riding it a lot so far this week and last. Also been in the process of lightening the look of the bike.
I made the vinyls on the fork last night but put them on this morning. The bit on the seat stays is on there because I was wearing through the paint. http://i423.photobucket.com/albums/p...0/893fae40.jpg |

I'm kind of anti-fast food, so I would have to disagree for various reasons. One sure sign about the quality of a place, not just a restaurant, but any shop, is would the owners eat/shop there? |
If I owned a Wendy's franchise I would totally eat there daily. Oh, and Five Guys too! The hardest big chain to for me to eat at is Taco Bell. There was a hottie at the counter the other day so I went in and got a couple of crunchy cheesy burritos (I think that's what they were called). Those things were nazzty. Totally worth it for the chance to meet Veronica, tho!
If I owned McDonald's there's not much I would eat. Apple Pies, Yogurt Parfaits and maybe the occasional McNugget session. |

Today I commuted the 8.5 miles to work in a t-shirt. In Wisconsin. In January. WTF. |
