Today I:

Tried my hand at my first Sprint... FFFUUUUU light tension pedals! I clipped out on my second or third rotation, and it took me another 2 or 3 to get back in. Would have caught the guy if I didn't fumble, but it was a 1x1 race and in life, you don't get a second chance.

Either way, I had a great time, and met a few new people!

BTW: Brassknuckle, with 44/14. Topped out at 32 on my first practice, but during the race I only hit 28. Man I wish I could have remembered to tighten the damn things up before the race!

I think I've only eaten there with a little buzz on. I did hit the Spokane Dick's (not related, IIRC) sober once.

today i cannot ride as i'm doing battle w/ some sort of nasty cold. weapon of choice: Puerto Rican Mondogo (beef tripe) stew, with a shot of Sriracha hot sauce.

we shall burn out the weakness......

I love mondongo. Holy **** I'm jealous.

I wish we had Puerto Ricans out here. Never had the Mondongo.

Today I: Biked to my LBS to check up on my order for my Soma 456s. Placed the order on the 3rd and they said there was a good chance I'd have them by the 6th. Turns out their supplier got the part no. mixed up with Major Taylor drops and it's going to take until around the 17th. FFFFFFUUUUUUU. Nothing against my LBS though; they always work hard to find a supplier if they don't stock what I need and this supplier just happened to be mixed up. Also it's going to be my birthday on monday and my sister said she'd get me a gift certificate to my lbs so hopefully I can use it on dem barz! :)

Tonight I'm going on a hot date to Beverly's in Cour d'Alene with my squirrelfriend :)
