What I find is that I only get the same effect with a continuous, intense effort. The problem with cycling and "runners" high is that things like traffic and terrain interrupt longer efforts.

Have you ever done a tt or something similar? For me a set of 2x20's on the trainer before work does the trick every time, provided that I can complete them in a HR zone that has me cussing and counting.

I know traffic and stuff gets in the way, but i wasn't doing anything different last night. I was just riding one my usual side street routes to go home, I wasnt tired, and I started to zone out and my body felt all light. Pedaling felt automatic to the point I didnt really feel my legs. this was on my touring bike

Today I met a dude from Africa who told me stories of how he and his brothers would hunt lions as young boys and how it feels odd to now be working at Home Depot as an adult. He went on to say how he has more fear for the IRS than for being face to face wild animals that could eat him.

It was $55. Ordered on 12/27 and received it today. Not bad for a custom-made bag.

we have a local Karen/Burmese population now. the guys i know were hunting monkeys w/ blowguns last year while avoiding Myanmar army patrols as well as tigers. and their boss in the machine shop pitches a fit if his favorite barista is not at Starbucks..... :)

No problem. I feel like it's a bit smaller than it looks in the photos(maybe the guy in the photos is a real small dude). You get to pick the main material color, trim color, thread color, and interior color. I also had them add an inch or two to the waist strap and it fits perfect. If I needed a big bag, I'd probably buy from them too.

Today I'm starting a week-long detoxing fast. No coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, or meat. Might go straight liquids for a day or two.

Water and real fruit juice alternating will wipe your system out. Lose like 10 lbs from it.

Got my Affinity crankset in the mail today, after ordering it on the 29th. been the last piece of my 722 I've been waiting for

and just as I feared, despite saying
"Comes with a Truvativ 68x107 BB for a limited time."

and then again in the product description
"For a limited time, we're including a free Turvativ 68x107 square taper BB. "

There is no BB to be found in this box. So effing annoyed right now.

That really sucks :(.

silver lining: I knew I should've put the omniums on the gold and the affinity on the blue anyway! now I have no excuse not to

I'd love to do that, but my job requires me to eat all sorts of **** and occasionally drink.

Today my boss gave me a Cannondale team wind jacket that doesn't fit him anymore. It's a season old, and is basically brand-new. I love free ****.

calv 01-10-12 04:06 PM

Today I realize how young I am in this class waiting for it to start. Two Asian chicks talking about how they're 23 and 24 and so old. Lol

hamfoh 01-10-12 04:13 PM

I'm 27 and won't be in beginner foreign language classes until I'm 28 :p

nuhtowel 01-10-12 04:19 PM

Today I found out my room mate is a compulsive liar and a *****. He told his parents a bunch of lies and they threatened to sue my parents, and then the learned the truth about their loser son. He has this weird thing about standing up for himself, but thats hard to do if you're not standing on solid ground to begin with.

homebrewk 01-10-12 04:25 PM

Wow. Sorry to hear that.

haha don't be sorry, they can't do anything. He took pictures of my girly looking shampoo and nail polish remover (wink wink) and said my girlfriend was living here or something like that.

Disclaimer, I don't paint my nails, I use it to clean sticky stuff.

yummygooey 01-10-12 04:44 PM

Lol what did he have to gain from that?
