If i were racing cx like you I would only use the DT 350 on my rear wheels. It takes nothing to open and the simple mechanism inside makes it extremely easy to clean out reassemble

I like the english real ales. Can't buy them here though

I don't care for the high alcohol/carbonation. Probably still won't when I can drink them legally either.

I basically went from hating beer to loving it overnight (when I turned 21). Amazing! Tastes are still continually evolving, which makes trying new stuff even more fun.

At the moment, I am all over porters and stouts.

All we have is stuff like Pliny and dog fish head. Somehow, through family (and a little bit of you guys) I've been conditioned to not drink miller, etc.

Not because drinking = bad, but because all the beer guys make fun of them. I don't want to associate my self with that

Bikes: good ones.

Tonight I went on a short group ride tonight. Two stops because of a cog slipping and a flat near the end.

Then watched a bike documentary called 'Bicycle Dreams' put on by trailnet about RAAM. Decent, but I have no interest seeing it again. As Ice Cube would say, it was a good day.

Today I rode to work with a former boss of mine/one of the best chefs in the country. He digs what I have going on. My boss (chef, former bike mechanic and messenger) bought the kitchen a six-pack of Lakefront Brewery's Fixed Gear Red Ale because it made her think of me.

Also, I realized that I've worked more in 2.5 days than pa lot of people work in a week.

All in all, not a bad day.
