oops, fail. That leaf looked like a valve stem in the first pic... lol...

I also reread your quoting of my post about 20 times. "Fixed" was referring to flipping the chain I guess... haha

Yeah, I fixed the chain real fast Hahaha. Protip since you want to go to Hellyer: If you go to iMinusD (the shop in downtown SJ) the offer vouchers for a free beginner session+bike rental.

Sweet, thanks for the tip! I'll pick one up tomorrow at school. It's literally a half block away. I get to see the Jackass thread ride by everyday.

I guess iMinusD is good for something. I read you need 3 beginners sessions to race. I wonder if i can get three vouchers, haha

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. They seem pretty level with the flat of the bar?

His hands are going to be angled down more than they normally would with level hoods. I don't think that would be comfortable for very long. I'm super picky when it comes to hood/bar/saddle angle, so take what I say with a grain of salt. If you're ok then ok, but it may be worth it to play with the position for a while until you're really satisfied.

I'd probably just move the levers up just a smidge. Bar angle looks spot-on to me, but that's personal to some extent. Some bars seem right to me with the ends pointing at the rear dropouts, some with the ends pointing straight back. Anything outside of that range, though, and something's probably not right.

Not all bars are made to be level on the tops or else you will end up with a weird position with the drops. My bar for example

My 3Ts are like that also. I do kinda what you do. Split the difference and have a little slope on the ramps and a little tilt on the ends. Works pretty well. My hoods are too high to win any BF fashion competition but I don't care about that.
