Hee, thanks. This is actually the first time in memory (maybe ever?) that I've gotten for reals drunk at home by myself. So yeah, not a common occurrence. Had a bad day, work from home tomorrow so I can sleep in, might as well have a few beers and some Jim Beam.

You could use little black ones, and they'd be less noticeable.

i did black originally, but they kept breaking, pink is better because its a much stronger color

Leukybear 08-22-12 10:55 PM

Just cut up an old innertube.... it's been ages since I had to buy rubberbands.... I've tried convincing my sqrl to use them in her hair but she won't have any of it.

spring SLR adds lots of weight. the s900 are ridiculous lightweights. like, kinda don't want to think about it, being that they are the only things that keep me from flying face first into a delivery truck at 20+ mph.

today i scored a beautiful set of hard ano tubular rims laced to immaculate shimano tricolor 600 hubs. JEWELSY

also i ordered a VX small messenger bag. ADVANCEDULATION!

also i got word that there's a bike so awesome you can't know about it until i post in the geared rigs thread in a few weeks. SUPERCRAZYSEX!

also i got 58" bars for my roof rack so i can hang bikes on the sides of my car like a bawss

Genius! I've been using ****ty tan bands that snap here and there.

#iBite + proof of speed on Garmin. You win.

I'll admit, I was probably going 5mph on this first attempt. I'll go faster once i get a Lifeproof iPhone case.

Mumonkan 08-23-12 08:02 AM

Today i got up an hour late, get to work and my boss gets to work 2 hrs late. Sweet.
2 paid hours of work and no recorded lateness. Sounds like a win to me!

solipsist716 08-23-12 09:51 AM

Today I woke up and realized I need to buy some pink rubber bands.

those would look awesome ON MY ****ING BIKE

FakeFuji 08-23-12 10:22 AM

Today I have mismatched crankarm on my bike, on silver one black. Reminiscent of Frankenstein IT LIVES

i love the feeling 15 miles into a ride where you feel unstoppable and hills aren't even a slight inconvenience anymore

If you watch the shadow of the ball, you can see it's inconsistent. I'm skeptical.

jimmytango 08-23-12 12:56 PM

That was shopped I can tell by the number of pixels.

Watching Doctor Who, drinking Kool-Aid, getting ready to watch stage three of the USA Pro Challenge, and then I'm going to make my debut in an improv comedy act. Today is rad.

seau grateau 08-23-12 02:04 PM

Today it is <100 degrees outside. Bike riiiiiiiiiiiiide.

edit- Broke the valve on my tube while topping off the tires. Gotta buy more tubes. FUUUUU--

Scrodzilla 08-23-12 02:12 PM

Today I was blown away by how completely rude people at Phil Wood are when dealing with them over the phone. What the ****.

Spoonrobot 08-23-12 02:28 PM

You were blown away by someone being rude?

TheRealFaux 08-23-12 02:34 PM

I have a friend who visited Phil Wood to do some research for his paper. I can't remember if he had set up an appointment for an interview or not, but when he arrived he was given an entire tour of the facility by president Peter Enright. At the end Peter even reconfigured his rear hub so it would work with his 110mm spaced frame.

I built another bike. The steer tube is too short for my Ultegra headset :(
