today I watched requiem for a dream for the first time... wow

That movie reminds me too much of people I knew when I was in my early twenties. I can't watch it. I mean, none of us lost an arm or anything, but I knew plenty of people that ended up dead or in jail or doing stupid stuff for a fix. ****ing sad.

Today I am rushing out the door for day 2 of volunteering for the Bicycle Film Festival. Block party and BMX/FGFS demos and contests, then film screenings, then afterparty. Should be a good, if chilly day (I have to man a table at the block party outside for 5 hours.)

Lolz, i was pretty hung over this morning too and this sqrl calls me up and wanted to ride at 8am. I was like uuhhhhhhh

buddy in NYC lost his battle with cancer during the storm. services today. bummed a bunch of us can't be there. will plan a memorial bash sometime when everyone can be together.

ended up scoring slightly used Sidi Diablo boots for the price of my old messenger bag and $40. little close in the left toebox with midweight wool socks and liners, but have different size feet and have to suck it up. water/wind proofness will be worth it.

avoiding eating too much, even after my ride, because the local Chinese place makes their own dumplings on Saturdays. will eat all the steamed dumplings.

Today I dropped the Xtracycle off at the shop cause I was too lazy to give it a good once over (adjustments,lubing,etc)-they always like when I bring it in,it's a conversation piece for EVERY customer that coems in,LOL! :P

Today I'm determined to NEVER EVER IN ETERNITY buy anything with a ATI graphics chip. Catalyst drivers are designed by short yellow bus special people.

Today I went on a "hi haters" ride. Skinny jeans and clipless on the bike path, tailing roadies and supping tri-girls.

My budget gaming rig has a Sapphire 6870, never had any problems.

Don't. D3 might be nice to newer players, but even most of them find that the game is a waste of time. If you ever played and liked D2, don't buy it.

If you played D2 and liked it, play Torchlight 2.

Its also only 20 bucks.

today i was happy to ride a bicycle in NJ. gas lines everywhere. grumpy people, tension rising. it was nice to get around on pedal power.

I forgot to mention that. Torchlight 2 will blow D3 out of the water if you liked D2.

TL2 is exactly what the D2 developers wanted D3 to be.

today I played a lil bball in columbus, ate some popeyes, and found out I got a pair of DP-18s waiting for me cuz of the birthday. not a bad day fellas, not a bad day indeed

I have had win8 running on my primary rig w/ nvidia cards in SLI w/o a hitch since launch and it's created a furry warm illusion for the nightmare that I'm having now with this laptop.
