You sure make a mean CL ad. I read it all.
 http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik/3405506087.html My favorite line was: Cervelo must be able to put up a fight right? It's french. of course not. |
You might want to add some sort info on the geo through considering people who deal with such a pricepoint would express interest in knowing that.

Great ad, if it were the 52cm I would be seriously compelled to buy it :thumb:
[grammar-nazi]"I can warm bring you up to speed"[/grammar-nazi] (in the line about the SRAM components, looks like an extra word slipped in there that doesn't make sense). |

[grammar-nazi]"I can warm bring you up to speed"[/grammar-nazi] (in the line about the SRAM components, looks like an extra word slipped in there that doesn't make sense). First I said "warm you up," but that sounded too homoerotic, so I switch to "bring you up to speed," and then I a word. |
Holy wall of text haha

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8478/8...661c3851_z.jpg Tips on how to make the wires look cleaner? |
Use less tape? Dont have the tape wrap completely around the downtube, and only have a small piece holding the wire to the frame?
|
yeah, use packing tape. Little squares under the downtube.
Also, run the cord to the downtube right from the barrel adjuster. Its down too low, and makes a funky line under the headtube. |

Why did you wire it to your rear wheel?
I have my wireless one and only put it to my back wheel cause I use my trainer a lot. I shortened and re-soldered the old wired computer I had and ran the wire through the top cap/star nut/ and out through the steer tube on my gfs bike. looks really clean actually. clear tape is a good idea though!:thumb: |
It's a cadence sensor.
I hope. |

Today, I picked up a nail in my tire that went through both sides of the tube and through the Velox tape and punched through the inner wall of my rim! I hate work zones.
|
Yesterday I went on a 50 mile fundraiser ride and was the only person on a fixed gear. Not even another single speed. Most everybody else doing it had high end carbon road bikes and were retro freds. All nice people though. It was a great ride through the country and along the river though there was one hill that was killer. Almost 20 percent grade for about a quarter mile. The worst part was that it would flatten out for a few meters tricking you into thinking you were done. But no. It was a good ride and i kept up with the lead group and ended up finishing in just over 2 hours 45.
|
Carbon retro freds? did you see a lot of these?

I had a Roubaix like that a while back. Hilarity.
|
caught "Skyfall". perfect Bond movie. redeemed the franchise after the farcical Quantum of Solace.
gearing up for the ride to two hours of sweaty fencing practice. 31F. remembering dry socks for the ride home this time. |
