If we're talking about sharp road bikes, I saw this yesterday and wanted it so bad(until I saw the price tag).
http://www.metrobicyclestores.com/im..._raw_13_z1.jpg i love everything about that except the whole $2000, and that tapered TT |

Got too cocky and tried trackstanding while still clipped in (still learning) for the first time. Fell. Dude in car laughed. Grinned and shrugged and tried again, held it till the light turned green and off I went.
|
I haven't tried to trackstand since I started running SPD's.
|
Yeah, I'm using SPD-SL's. Definitely need to practice more before trying that again in public... I'm good at doing "almost trackstands" while still clipped in, just not staying totally still and rocking small amounts

CAAD10 is one of my fav frames. It rides great, better than anything else Cdale makes.
For racing, it's a great foundation The plan as of now is CAAD10 + used SRAM Red + thomson all around + A23's to novatecs. edit: pretty awesome that big sizes of bikes are cheaper. |
Today I saw this mother ****ing beik and I feel like I can't quite justify that money right now on another bike unless I sell a bunch of stuff. I live pretty damn close too

You need to make an exception. Now.
|
Yeah if you don't sell something and buy that right now I'm going to call you the r-word.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...405025613.html Will it fit? For some reason that looks small for a 62. |
You deserve that bike.

I'm surprised the decals don't say "Hairnet."

ok, well, email sent.

well, I can keep it for a while, ride it around, feel like it is too much bike, and flip it on eBay. For sure I will give it a full overhaul

Today I had a good day dirt jumping.
|
Karaoke with friends, good scotch, gin martinis, tons of wine, new dice for D&D, imported cigarettes...
Man it's been a great day. |
Dodici is recommending I get a 55. I'm 6' with a 33.5" inseam barefoot (why do we measure things barefoot when nobody does anything barefoot!) . Guy said he's the same measurements as me and the 57 is too big.

geo http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6142/...921b48f5_z.jpg That being said, I'm getting a 58 caad10 when the time comes, that has a 57.5 tt. Fit calc results? |

geo http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6142/...921b48f5_z.jpg Your inseam is measured while barefoot because shoes vary in thickness and will obviously throw off the results. |
my focus is a 58 with a 570mm TT and a 110mm stem, but it's much more aggressively setup than anything I normally ride.
my polo bike is 58cm with a 57cm top tube and 100mm stem my all city is a 55 with a 565 top tube and 100mm stem, but I have hoods on it now so I stretch slightly more than my previous setup, which was risers, and probably too cramped both my 722s were 58 /57 TT with a 100mm stem 570-575mm top tube seems like a sweet spot for me. the thing is though, he didn't worry about my reach, he worried about the '55' part of it, which makes no sense at 6' to me, normally due to my long legs I have my seatpost higher than others my height. I hope he isn't concerned with standover Obviously it wouldn't be bad, my all city is a tad smaller than I'd normally prefer but I prefer to make a bike grow instead of make one shrink |
