work sucks when you have to train people for functions with very serious legal consequences who have never been held to any performance standard in the past. argh...so much dumb in the state system.
but i managed to hit both non-raining windows in the day for my commute. now i'm home with my favorite things: red meat, red wine and a redhead. :) up at 5am tomorrow to drive to a fencing tournament. this one is for all the cookies.... |

Plan tonight: go home, watch Doctor Who, drink beer, sleep deeply.

So, I converted an old gary fisher mountain bike to an e-bike.
http://i.imgur.com/gqaxWl.jpg And today I took it for a ride. http://i.imgur.com/3w0q9l.jpg And while I was on that ride, I may or may not have set a handful of KOMs on strava. Whoops. http://app.strava.com/rides/25498327 |
Poor Gary Fisher bike + poor local NY State Stravers :)
Today I weighed the MTB tire I got for $10. Result : 472.2 grams. I may go buy a couple more tomorrow if I like how morning trail ride goes. |
