Who wants to buy a mac? lol. A laptop should be easier to sell than a bike. Christmas is coming up to, so it should be an easy sale. |

Nice.

Love my macs. Got a macbook air at home, and a macbook pro and iPad at work. iPhone of course. New guy friend works at the apple store so... yeah.
Today I have a flight out of ORD at 2pm to visit family in DC. Currently there is dense fog all over Chicago and travel is royally ****ed. Already 60 cancellations and 90 minute delays. Should be interesting. And by "interesting" I mean "a mad house." I had a rule never to travel for the holidays and broke it this year due to extenuating circumstances. Dur. Also, I found my dream bike. I was so sad when Wabi stopped making the Lightning in 43cm, but now they're doing the Classic!!! |

Today I finished my first fixed gear :) This is a budget build and I can't afford a single gear crank at the moment so I left the stock crank there...
This is a NORCO frame... really like riding this thing ;) |

This is a NORCO frame... really like riding this thing ;) Very cool, it can be addicting. I agree with hairnet, that there's no reason to get an SS crank if everything is working now. On a side note, I did the action in your avatar a couple weekends ago: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ent-frame-gulp) |

caad build is gonna be sweet.
I also don't have to get as much as I thought I did out of that laptop. |
Today I wanted to shoot people:
- 3 dumb, fat, white *****es at Staples. I ship a package out, go to pay, there are 3 fat white women with three different issues jamming up all three registers. This is stop no. 1 running errands. All three are arguing sale pricing on different things, with managers and cashiers trying to explain why they are STOOPID, but retail nicely, they can't yell at them, "Get your fat ass out of the way so we can take care of a customer who knows what the **** they are doing and are about to pay full price on a service." - 1 **** in an SUV who totally blocked an outlet from a parking lot for me, needing to make a left turn while there was no traffic coming from the right and she was stopped in a line of cars at a red light. Guy in front of her saw me needing to exit, moved forward, dumb ***** starts to inch forward. WTF?!? Totally pulled out in front of her, glared at her, made my turn. She was looking like I was doing something wrong -- F' YOU!!! - Too many to list at the grocery store. I know, what did I expect, day before thanksgiving, but this gets me hot no matter what: crowded, everyone grumpy, ****face stops with their cart positioned so no one can get around on one side, while keeping a hand on the cart and stretching to the other side of the aisle to grab something, AND THEN READ THE F'ING INGREDIENT LIST!!! At about the 7th time that happened, I lost it, totally just rammed their cart, and when they gave me the stank-eye, said, "Oops, thought I could squeeze by you there. Sorry." while grinning at them so they totally knew I didn't mean it. There's this thing called courtesy and awareness of things past the end of your nose. Too many people don't gots that anymore. Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! |
So this has been my past five days, I suppose. First, my dad and I made it out to Austin for the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas. That was pretty awesome, though it was a shame to see Hamilton take poll. We had some awesome, mind-blowing barbecue. Then, yesterday, I went into SF with a friend. Came away with a ben and jerrys pearl izumi jersey from a thrift store, and then, because I'm stupid, I bought 2 records. I don't even own a record player, but they were calling to me. Also, the exploratorium is like a playground of science.
|
I desperately need a new jersey haha. I can fit two of me into my current one, and still have room for activities.
