The only way to mountain is wearing a christmas sweater. And those rocks to the side look pretty jagged, painful even under the padding.

Still looks sweet.

Naturally, he was giving me the stink eye like I was somehow offending him by being alive.

As I got up to leave and walked by their table he said "Hey, how do you sleep with those things on your head?", pointing at my dreads. I stopped and said "How do you sleep with that thing in your house?", pointing at his kid.

Game, set, match.

Sir, I think I love you.

Someone on craigslist just offered to trade for my road bike. This thing:

Dannihilator 11-19-12 11:22 PM

Don't do it.

Nagrom_ 11-19-12 11:23 PM

Of course not, haha. I don't even know what the hell that thing is, even with videos and all, I'm still clueless.

Dannihilator 11-19-12 11:26 PM

I know where it belongs (jackass thread).

Nagrom_ 11-19-12 11:33 PM

hah. Looks like some kickstarter scheme that got over funded.

Those prints are sweet.

So I guess I'm trading my bike for a macbook pro and 1500 bucks. Gonna resell the laptop.

Today we worked on a new rack for the Pugsley that we hope will go into production... was so nice to work in the shop with the wood stove fired up and to have such a nice view.

Saw a fox cruising along down by the pasture, was probably looking for mice.

so you're selling your bike for $2000?

J Pedals 11-20-12 01:44 AM

Today I finally broke loose a stuck seat post! I took on the challenge about a year ago, doing several 20 minute sessions a day over a period of about a week. Gave up, forgot about it. Then I took the bike back home with me the last time I went to my Dad's, and finally got to it again tonight.

Tried the seat in table vise method first, then the last resort was the vertical hacksaw slit. Tonight I resorted to hot-cold with hairdryer and cool water, and then finally stuck a big drill bit in the hole, attached to a hammer drill. That weakened the inner wall of the seat post and I was finally able to twist it out with pliers and a few more hot-cold flashes. A total of probably 4-5 hours of labor, but the sense of relief feels really nice.

It was aluminum/aluminum on a pretty mediocre Fuji Finest, but I've been needing to sell this bike forever and finally I can sell it in good shape/clear conscience.

Should be able to resell the laptop for another 1500. Christmas is coming up too, so it should be an easy sell.

jimmytango 11-20-12 01:52 AM

Made my first d&b track tonight, and then accidentally deleted it. It wasn't bad, either. I mean, it wasn't good, but it wasn't terrible haha.

wyeast smack pack, and it burst all over, so, not sure it even activated, or i had enough yeast, since it spilled mostly everywhere

added some good ol' white labs last night.

its a really high grav belgian, so too much yeast is gonna be hard anyway

OOooh, it's as fast as a DJ bike with 140mm fork going up hill!

I dunno how that dude doesn't take a massive header going over that pothole.

Oh, I did get on Youtube, still dying to know what's up with OG site vid. Probably hammered with unflattering comments :) or they owe their "webmaster" some moneys or something.

LesterOfPuppets 11-20-12 12:40 PM

Saw the best ever Aerospoke application. Hahaha, $2500 BIN on ebay.
