On a 12-25 my lowest gear was 39-21 these were long 9 to 15% in upstate NY. The only thing that stopped me from getting off and walking was the hope that I would get home faster if I keep on pushing.

You earned your HTFU badge today.
Welcome to manhood.

Edit:
Today I listed the roadie on CL complete, and planned out the next build. It's gonna be a mountain goat.

No caps, so just a bike made for climbing or Capped, like:

You might want to add some sort info on the geo through considering people who deal with such a pricepoint would express interest in knowing that.

The geometry chart is given in the pictures.

Great ad, if it were the 52cm I would be seriously compelled to buy it :thumb:

[grammar-nazi]"I can warm bring you up to speed"[/grammar-nazi] (in the line about the SRAM components, looks like an extra word slipped in there that doesn't make sense).

Thanks on both accounts. When I proof read it, I was gonna fix that and a couple things, but then missed that one when I got around to it.

First I said "warm you up," but that sounded too homoerotic, so I switch to "bring you up to speed," and then I a word.

Tips on how to make the wires look cleaner?

Muffin Man 11-13-12 12:23 AM

Use less tape? Dont have the tape wrap completely around the downtube, and only have a small piece holding the wire to the frame?

Nagrom_ 11-13-12 12:29 AM

yeah, use packing tape. Little squares under the downtube.

Also, run the cord to the downtube right from the barrel adjuster. Its down too low, and makes a funky line under the headtube.

Why did you wire it to your rear wheel?
I have my wireless one and only put it to my back wheel cause I use my trainer a lot.

I shortened and re-soldered the old wired computer I had and ran the wire through the top cap/star nut/ and out through the steer tube on my gfs bike.

looks really clean actually.

clear tape is a good idea though!:thumb:

Nagrom_ 11-13-12 12:56 AM

It's a cadence sensor.

I hope.

The wire extends down the downtube and splits into two, one for cadence and one for speed. On the driveside chainstay is the speed sensor, and on the non-driveside is a cadence sensor.

hamfoh 11-13-12 02:00 AM

go wireless :)
