Crashed on my ride earlier. nothing broken, just some scrapes. although, my wheel is out of true, and i now have a shifting problem. hopefully my derailleur isn't damaged.

She might have been telling the truth. Sometimes, especially on weekends, packages are delivered by a different person from my regular mail. Doesn't seem efficient, but it's happened plenty of times.

Just got back from BofA, closed my stupid ass savings account. They charge a $5 monthly fee if you don't have a minimum balance or transfer into it monthly. I met the minimum balance and they still charged the fee.

A 32 minute wait, when I finally stood up and the worker finally decided to help me. Took 3 minutes on the computer to close it. She could have done that at ANY time. I think the strategy was to make me wait so I would just leave.

Time to make my Federal Credit Union my only account. Ef those bastards.

Off to the auto-mechanic to get an oil change and the brakes looked at. Grading and college football today, happy Saturday everyone.

Not the case this time. She was holding two packages, maybe she was just being cautious not to give the package to a random person but how could I have known a package was coming if it wasn't for me? Normally I don't really care but it's just annoying to wait weeks for something to get a notice then wait in line at the post office for 30-45 mins. This is starting to become a normal routine for all my packages.

Ah that sucks. I ran into a delivery guy once, and I asked. He had it and asked to see my ID, then asked me to open my mailbox in front of him. That was that.

Has anyone ever had problems with pedalroom's photo uploader? I'm trying to upload a portrait picture but it keeps displaying it sideways in landscape... thought it was because of the resolution and down sized only for pedalroom to troll me by showing my portrait upright but overly stretched in landscape mode...

Mumonkan 11-10-12 04:14 PM

that happened to me here on bf a lot when i took pics from my old phone, i had to just resize them in ps and it behaved, very odd

Had that happen a couple of times. I don't remember how I solved it, maybe it was just a glitch or I used the "old" uploader. I think whether it's the main pic or not made a difference too, but I don't remember.

It might be some kind of palsy.

LesterOfPuppets 11-11-12 02:31 AM

Today I saw that Raleigh's making 125 of these puppies. But damn near $3200 with Veloce shift/der/crank, Athena brakes and Record hubs

bro 11-11-12 06:53 AM

today i did my best to measure a bunch of stuff on my new schwinn world tourist frame. spacing is 95mm x 122mm. probably going to cold set the dropouts and fork to 100 x 120. im pretty sure i figured out what bottom bracket i need to get, which is cool. i figured out my bike was assembled on march 25th 1981 which was also kinda cool

TMonk 11-11-12 10:41 AM

todays my bday!

im going w alot of co-workers/friends and their gfs to Minus the Bear at House of Blues in SD!!!!! Can't wait!

The goal is to NOT be too drunk by the time the show starts.... it will take some vigilance and aversion on my part haha.

I got tons of sleep last night, and i'm about to go on a 2 hr ride a a mellow z1/2. Those things combined with lots of food and water should help me survive.

Nagrom_ 11-11-12 10:50 AM

Happy birthday TMonk.

Most successful CL listing of all time. Someone is coming by to take a look at the wheels at 10, as well as another serious buying if this one falls through. Selling the crankset on tuesday more than likely.

Street rider 11-11-12 11:38 AM

Today I'm going to participate in a charity ride for MS. Its part of a 1200 mile ride, and our cycling club was asked to participate in the last leg (7 miles). And since its so short, we're going to meet on campus, and then ride down to the start as a group. Free party at the bar where the ride ends too.

Its just too bad that I have a meeting with my acting partner for a class at 5, and a paper to write tonight. Otherwise I would be getting pretty ****ty on free drinks.

Nagrom_ 11-11-12 01:29 PM

I like to sign CL flakes' email addresses up for horrendous amounts of spam.

FakeFuji 11-11-12 01:34 PM

You decided not to be a roadie Morgan?

Nagrom_ 11-11-12 01:35 PM

Of course not, I love gears. Just don't like not having confidence in a wheelset. Gonna have something alloy laced up instead.

RGNY 11-11-12 02:12 PM

today's commute was around 44F, after Tuesday being 19F i'm getting kinda thick-skinned. was fine w/ thermaldress knickers-jersey-arm warmers. my psycho roadie buddy keeps making Rule #5 references.

minor winter project will be singlespeeding the 722ts. fits so well i want to keep it active in the commute rotation and i just can't get into spinning like mad down the big long hills on my route. heretical, i know.....

Muffin Man 11-11-12 02:23 PM

So I just lost my phone, and the GPS tracker that I installed on it isnt working. I'm dying a lot on the inside right now.

Nagrom_ 11-11-12 07:00 PM

Listed the road frame on CL today too.

Nothing against chicarb, just gonna get a different model. I really like the team machine clone.
