Its been about 3 months. But yeah, just realized It's not what I want, too deep and aero.

new build should be a hell of a climber.

That's^ ridiculous.... is this direct from BMC's supplier as such for literal chinarellos?

Muffin Man 11-11-12 07:18 PM

I was gonna buy that, but I realized I dont have money haha

Street rider 11-11-12 07:20 PM

The charity ride was amazing! $50 was donated to MS research for everyone who participated, and there were 111 people who showed up. And the guy who originally pledged the ride, at $5 a mile for a total of $6000, decided to double his offer. It was an amazing day. And the weather was sunny and in the 70's, I pulled two strava leaderboard spots (one of those being a KOH) and I topped out at 34 mph. Then we got free beer and appetizers at the bar where we ended.

What an awesome day.

They also supply the chinarellos, so I'm gonna assume it's the same case for the BMC clone.

Today I did some dirt jumping.

hamfoh 11-11-12 09:50 PM

yesterday I played in the texas polo championships. I just started playing in like august and then was out the last month since I taco'd a wheel, but we did well in prelims going 2-2-1 and ended up as the 6 seed. won our first game 5-0 then lost to a team from Austin and Dallas (who we had tied earlier) to get a quick exit. tons of fun, ****ed up my wrist though and I'm off the bike for a while :/

striknein 11-11-12 09:55 PM

Made chili, watched football, waxed moustache. Not bad.

jimmytango 11-12-12 12:49 AM

If (when) mine goes to ****, I'm totally doing this.

Just found out that a friend of mine wants to trade my lightly used 105 pedals for his brand new, still in the box aluminum rollers. Deal.

Today my Garmiin died (literally) and think I just came back from one of the gnarliest rides a 16 y/o boy has ever completed. Highlights; Crashed twice, First crash I got stabbed in the shin by nature with a pointy twig, Second crash I dislocated my shoulder again then popped it back into place, also bent my rear derailleur and had to make it home about 50 miles with out my 2 biggest cogs and tons of hills were left.

I was this close *shows tiny space in between fingers* to calling my mom to come pick me up and giving up on riding bieks forever but.... MY PHONE DIED! I took this crappy pic though.

I got home an hour ago and i'm just laying on the floor thinking "Did all that really just happen?"

RGNY 11-12-12 03:33 PM

conquered a hill that had previously been my nemesis. had to tack the last 1/3 of it, but made it w/o stopping.

called Sgt 1st Class Dad for Veteran's Day.

wondered where i would be now if i'd actually gotten into Marines officer school like i wanted in '92. unfortunately, they weren't hiring and my life went a different direction.

Safe to say you probably won today's Most Epic Day contest.

I haven't even gone out yet today. Been grading and planning for tomorrow (so nice to have today off), bout to hit up the grocery store with the wife, then maybe run, bike or weights, or all three.

Nagrom_ 11-12-12 04:31 PM

Had a "wtf am I doing moment?"

I'm selling my wheelset, and my frameset.... So I'm just gonna sell my roadie complete...

+1. I love Saeco C'dales and those are some of the last attractive road cranks Shimano ever made.

I was reading quoted text on this page and when I got to the part about being locked out of two biggest cogs I was thinking "pfft, probably rollin' 34 x 21, easy gear" - but dang, you were probably 39x19 or somethin, huh?
