Bike Forums - Today I:

Today is my first day back from Cuba. What a crazy experience! I'd never been to a communist country or one as oppressive as Cuba before and it was really an eye opening experience. Such a beautiful country too. The architecture, the cars, beaches, and cities are awe inspiring. One of my favorite things was just spending a good 3-4 hours wandering through the maze of downtown Havana getting lost in the parts where tourists don't go. I'd love to go back but who knows if I'll ever get the chance again as a US citizen.

50-70% of the cars on the road are from the 1950's. Most have been converted to chinese diesel engines.

Great pictures, EpicSchwinn. I'd read about all the 1950's cars on the streets, and marvelled at their ability to keep them running for so long. The replacement diesel engines make total sense!

Today i rearended a woman checking my gps on the way to scrods shop, no big deal though on the damage front so hopefully wont burn a big hole in my pocket

Scrods town is adorable though and i wish i had more time to spend there and more money to give him, lol

Maybe someday ill do a ride from ny > boston and we could hang out more

Won our football game! 21-0, making it six straight years of wins for the Trumpet section. Currently have Icy Hot on the entirety of both legs. Everything hurts. Especially my left knee because I smacked it into someone elses leg/knee. Hookah followed by victory party in a few hours

went to what was supposed to be a fencing tournament, which turned out to be a lame exhibition. should have stayed home and deep cleaned the bike.

Rode a little bit, then ate a sandwich. I haven't been riding lately but I've been playing my guitar a lot, so legs are weak but fingers are in ****ing beast mode.

Rode in on the beater (5 miles) and sat here watching movies TAB+ALTing whenever the boss came around. 14 days until I'm an official gollege craduate.

Got some work for next week done. Mercifully, it's the last week of the quarter at that school, off for a month after that.

Ordered some gifts for family/friends, then went for a 4 mile run. Felt good to stretch afterwards. Just got the chain whip and hozan pliers from RG, I'm always a little surprised at the size of the tools based on pictures.

I'm gonna play a little PS3, drink a little beer and do some more work tonight.
