almost a good problem.

p.s. I'll msg you about a saddle in the near future. I may end up settling on a toupe anyway, I just noticed a small crack in the shell of my arione today and I gotta remeasure my bum anyway because I forgot what I ended up with when I did it last.

Cool, no rush. They don't sell many, if any.

I was wondering about that. It seemed like it would be when I spun the freehub by hand.

Only because it's a rest day and I'm working on my biekz.

Easy, learn how to sprint properly.

In a flat sprint, lean forward a bit... I had the problem with my track bike at the velodrome till I fixed my form.

FWIW, I cracked the Toupe I had a while ago. Took me a little while to figure out what all the creaking on my bike was until I noticed it. I really liked that saddle and will probably get another one in the future.

Completed my first road race yesterday in Patterson, where I met Jandro briefly, it was a fun day. I had a mechanical issue, hit a huuge pothole which caused my bars to drop down a couple inches somehow (rotated downwards so far I couldn't really reach the hoods), and front wheel started rubbing brake. Had to stop for a couple minutes and fix both things, so I lost the pack, ended up 26th / 44. There was some gnarly black ice in the shadows, and a few nasty crashes because of it. So I'm just glad I finished safely. Really liked the road race style more than the crit I did a couple weekends ago, hope to start doing them regularly. Need to start trying to actually train for them.

Today, about to go on a nice slow cruise to the beach as a recovery ride... it's absolutely beautiful outside, feels like spring already here.

I heard it was icy (spoke to Jandro).

Glad you made it out of there in one piece.

Get rid of the seatbag and get a handlebar bag. That will cure your wheelie problem.
