Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Brake Lever question

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the forum and the fixed gear scene! i've been lurking around the forms the last few days and theres an amazing/knowledgeable community here, and I've learned alot from all the posts (not to mention killing hours at a time reading threads). I just recently purchased my first FG (09 KHS Flite 100) and a set of origin 8 brake calipers, and an avid 7 speed dial lever. I just got back to my bike and found out that the diameter for the brake lever was too small for my drops, but good thing i purchased from amazon so i can return them. Any tips on finding the right fit for the lever? because i noticed that levers on amazon dont have the specs for the inside diameter. I'm kinda close to just running brakeless because i learned how to skid, but you never know when you need em for an emergency! Thanks again for any input you guys can give.

tl;dr
My brake lever inside diameter is too small. How do i find the right size?

Cross lever, 26.0 diameter. That or a set of road levers.

If the diameter isn't listed, don't buy them.

you bought a lever for a mountain bike.. you need to buy a lever for a road bike.

and even then road bikes have different diameters.. lol
