Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That's fun. But I couldn't get it under 15lb with pedals. The only wheelset they list currently is a mavic track clincher set. Did they have some zipp tubular wheels listed previously, or other components that saved 2 pounds??

edit: On the other hand, I got an airborne Torch with a 20-spd drivetrain (Record) down to 14.8lb with pedals. Price: a mere $7800.

That doesn't make me want one, but it ought to be possible to make a really light fixed gear. Track parts aren't typically very light though.
