Protect Autographed frame?

I recently got one of my bike frames autographed, is there anyway to protect the autograph? I was thinking about buyin a clear tape from auto dealer? any other ideas? thanks

whats the process of clear coating? and how much will it cost?

putting the 3m tape sounds alot easier rite now, but not sure if it will last.

hang the frame on your wall as a trophy, if the autograph means that much to you, you shouldn't put it through any risk of ruining it

If the autograph is written in Sharpie, clearcoat will cause the ink to run - essentially ruining what you want to protect. Do as solbro said and stick some clear vinyl tape over it.
