Sweet outfit.

Sweet edit!

nuhtowel 05-02-11 05:32 PM

It looks like you're just grabbing your butt when you want to slow down

dbwoi 05-02-11 05:34 PM

i don't get the whole "muckybrake" thing. i had the exact same brake setup on a bike over a year ago simply because i didn't have enough brake cable reach any further. to me, it just seems like another clever place to stick a brake, nothing wildly out of the ordinary. (not to rain on your parade.) perhaps im just taking things too seriously.

xavier853 05-02-11 05:42 PM

wait, using a brake on a rear wheel will stop it from rotating?

:)

its obvious to you now but apparently enough people here didnt know that for some reason...

motobeCarnage 05-02-11 05:54 PM

I don't think that's what people had a problem with hah

Chad1376 05-02-11 05:56 PM

So...the rear wheel locked up, but the bike didn't slow down. Maybe because of weight transfer, or maybe because the surface looks like marble tile at the mall, but it looks damn ineffective. I think you could scrubb off more speed by ramming pedestrians, or t-boning the side of that truck that just pulled out in front of you....you know, the one you couldn't swerve around becuse one hand was off of the bars and grabbing that asinine brake lever.

Scrodzilla 05-02-11 05:59 PM

Looks like he came to a complete stop to me.

You don't get it, it's called an "ass-in-line" brake lever.

Jandro 05-02-11 06:00 PM

Sigh. It's so you don't get a ticket for not having a brake/brakes.

I don't think the point of the muckybrake is to use it as a efficient way to stop yourself/your bicycle.

While people are fighting against police brutality and racial profiling, there are suburban kids buying brake pads and levers to put on their seatpost to dodge a law that would make them and other motorists safer.

Nice.

M_S 05-02-11 06:25 PM

op has no right to criticize anyone else's bike, ever. just for the record.
