Bikes: Custom frame

Quick question about chain rings,

So right now, My crank arms and chain ring are very close to my chain stay, For example, When i don't torque down my chain ring bolts enough, They will kiss the paint of my frame,

Right now, its actually chipped from the chain rings, Well my question is

If i am having clearance issues with a small chainring (48 tooth) I probally can't fit a 53-4 tooth in?

I really want too ):

Chainring bolt clearance won't be an issue, but the larger diameter of the ring will. Only way to know for sure is by trying.

I've got a nice raw spot on my frame from a loose chainring bolt. I'm the only one who knows about it, but it sucks.

If you'd post a damn drive-side pic of your bike, we'd already know that.

New rule: if you can't post a drive-side pic, your bike sucks and your cred level is -15.

That is a plus...but because scrod had to tell him that it adds another -15 which undoes the 25lb lips(which are the same color so -10 more)
