Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Alright, well i'm going to Madrid for the spring and although I know that there are no spaniards on this board I was just curious if anyone knows if there even is a fixed gear scene there. . . I've been searching to no avail for any courier companies and have only found one and apparently there are 2 velodromes. That's cool 'cause i've been wanting a new frame to build up a new project. It would seem odd to me that there wouldn't be seeing how every other major european city has a large cycling comunity but I can't seem to find one for Madrid. Can anyone help Please?! Possibly one of the european members??
