toe clip sizing
I'm ignorant and need some info. I have always run clipless on my fixed, but am thinking about using clips on a beater I am building up so I can leave it outside the bar w/out worrying, etc. My question is what size clips to I buy if I am a 9.5 shoe size? Also, I have a myriad of orthopedic injuries (knee, hip). Should I just stick to clipless?
And before I get *****ed out because I should have searched the forum before starting this thread - I did and didn't find *****. Thanks.

They usually have recommended shoe sizes on the package somewhere. If it helps, I seem to do ok with a Large and I wear size 11 chucks. Also the better shops in philly should let you swap sizes without a hassle. The first time around I picked up XLs and then decided they were too big once i got them on my bike.

i'm also having toe clip sizing issues -- part cuz i have little feet, but mostly cuz my frame is so small that i'm having overlap problems. i had my LBS special order some kiddie sized clips-- hopefully these will work...

I have a huge foot (size 14--16 (48 euro), depending on the brand). I should probably use an XL clip, but I decided to go with the L on both my bikes to avoid clearance issues with the front tire (I only have 0.5mm of clearance with the L). Just something to think about, if you don't want to have to worry about catching your foot on the front tire while trackstanding.
