Which Color?

From what I've read, I know all of you guys LOVE the Kilo TT, but I'm wondering for my first bike, what color do I buy?? My first choice was the stripper matte black, but unfortunately its not available in my size (50 cm) on bikes direct, so now im debating between the black chrome, just plain black, or the stripper raw. What do you guys recommend?

ps. the black chrome is 2011 model and black is 2010 model, but what is the difference, besides that the 2011 model is 40$ more on bikesdirect.

At least the op didn't ask which bike to buy as their first post! We all know that Kilo would be the answer to that.

the chroming is an extra process in the painting process enough to be a reason for the price increase.
different saddle, but shouldnt be anymore spec changes.

get the chrome if you like chrome? and get the non otherwise? you're a big boy, we're sure you can make this decision on your own ;D

Yea the OP threw us a curveball, hence the plethora of answers. BFSSFG is confused.

Which color do you want, we're not your personal decision maker...Color has nothing to do with function...

BD basically owns the Mercier brand and as the name implies they only sell it to you direct, no resellers.
the bike tho is genetically the same frame as a KHS Flite 100 that you may be able to get from dealers around town but usually costs way more. (not direct)
craiglist isnt a bad place to search

boy i didnt even know they had the black in matte but i guess they do and its popular enough to be low stock
the bikesdirect rep uses this forum, someone get him the user name i forget. try PMing him to see how long til its back in stock, or ever will be ;D good luck.

What color shorts should I wear when I go swimming tonight? Will there be jellyfish in the cove?

I'm kinda hungry.

no a 53cm is really tall. i'm 5"10 and a 53cm is barely short enough for me, see above photo. i seriously wish my seatpost could be taller for more street cred.

50cm should be fine. I'm 5'8" and a 50cm Kilo is a tad on the short side for me. My lady is 5'5" and a 50cm fits her well.

Worry less about your seatpost and more about what your shoes are attached to.

My lower lobes keep itching... Anybody have any good creme for them?

My vote is to tell us more about your intensions on the bike, street cred, art project, painful to the eyes, soft on the eyes, in-cog-neto, murdered out, or perhaps ghetto? Maybe vintage is what your trying for?

I mean really, are you interested in adding a specific color to the mix-up or are you going to ride it as is? I think the Chrome ones can look great, but they are also an eye-sore in person...

Personally, I went with the Raw because I thought I'd eventually paint it... The grey looks great when done tasteful, but I did not do anything about it tastefully... Added some Decals and it turned out looking a bit better, but never what I intended... It's always nice to have a big picture in your head, and since you've only asked about the color of the frame, it is hard for "us" to help you, specially considering you did not mention the desires for the bike.
