the cyclist was probably just following the bike path. and seeing that their lines are all crooked, the cycling had no choice but to follow in zigzag pattern. its that country's fault really.

Just so we're clear, the zigzag lines mean it's a pedestrian crossing. The cyclist is a dumb**** trying to split lanes between a bus and a car and he got what he deserved. There is no bike path in that video.

Wow. That bus driver should be ashamed of himself. All self-respecting bus drivers should be aware of cyclists swerving by them at all times. Everybody knows that hipsters get right of way at all times!

Brakes aren't the problem here. He was just too damn slow. If he coulda shaved 4 seconds off his time he woulda had an easy gap there.

My only gnarly bike vs car wreck happened when I was riding my nasty 10-speed up to the killer arcade when I was about 15.

That is the perfect example of why motorists have such negative feelings toward cycliststs in general. Aggressive, reckless riding like that is going to get you hurt/killed. Rider should grow up and learn how to control himself and his bike.

He wasn't aggressive at all-- he was a puss. The problem is that he wimped out and tried to stop instead of going for it. Weak-minded fool.
