Underwear?

So what underwear do you wear when you ride? I usually wear regular tidy whities, but recently its been very uncomfortable. I just got a new saddle, and already I have chaffed abit. Im considering getting bike specific underwear, I have seen some with a little padding in the neither area. Has anyone had the same problem? Any ideas or suggestions?

If I'm not using my bibs then I wear tight box briefs. Under Armor shorts seem to make my ass hurt more

Usually I go commando with chamois biker shorts but when riding to work I wear Adidas sport boxer briefs or trunks under them. They wick away sweat and don't chafe like cotton underwear. They are the best thing ever.....I usually find them at Kohl's.

Briefs then bike shorts, then sweats or shorts. Spandex is a privilege not a right and I don't qualify for that privilege yet.

If you can get into Manhattan, Uniqlo has some really nice slick feeling boxer briefs I forget what they call them. They are about $3/pair and work great. Used them on the shorter days while touring and no rash. Seams are out of the way.
