Fixie 101

So I'm trying to get a rundown if you will on how to build a fixie. I've got an old vintage bike in excellent condition, it's a single speed cruiser and I thought it'd look cool to keep the fenders and chain guard and just make it fixed. I basically need the idiot's guide to turning a single speed bike into a fixie if you would all be so kind
