If you're a believer of karma, understand and embrace how this may be a chance for you to personally deliver it to your boss. After all, it can't come around if it doesn't go around.Originally Posted by Mumonkan

I think velomine has them a little cheaper, and you could probably find them even cheaper then that on ebay.
Unimportant, cosmetic "should I": silver stem / post or stick with black?

I kinda like the black stem and post up top, then silver across the bottom - hubs and crank.
Silver seatpost binder to match headset might be nice, tho.

Yeah while I debated over black / silver, one of my thoughts was to leave it as is, then just get the silver binder to match the headset. Originally Posted by LesterOfPuppets

Thanks, y'all.
Magnets, how do they work
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm sure there's something else you can spend your money on. Or y'know, save your money or something

if clamp is not enough then silver bar tape will do the rest.
But i like as it is.

I generally agree with this. However, if I were to make such changes, I would just look to do a straight trade. Not get some new ones.Originally Posted by solipsist716

Anyways... looks like I may be sticking to black for now, except for the collar.

Should I build up an All City Mr. Pink with SRAM Force slowly over the winter, or buy complete with 105 next week?
Want to go SRAM, don't know if I have the patience/money to build it up slow and right.

For groupsets, eBay is right around QBP cost, so I'd probably just buy from Ebay. I can get the frameset for half the cost of the complete bike, I just know how fast building a bike adds up and if I build it, the only way I'll be able to is by buying all the best parts. It'll end up being more expensive than my Tarmac easily.
Thing is, I haven't even ridden my bike for over a month now, and having a new road bike probably isn't going to change my lack of desire to ride in cold weather, so building over the winter really won't affect my riding one way or the other since I have my 722 should I feel like riding.

build.
im in the same boat and i realized that even if i did get a new roadie suddenly i wouldnt be able to do the big rides i want anyway, so i decided to build it up over the "winter" and go ape**** when it gets nice out
sure itl cost more in the end, but youre only spending a couple hundred at a time

Get the 105 bike complete, and be happy you don't have SRAM wiped all over you bike.Originally Posted by ddeadserious

Buddy legitimately called out his boss to superiors, got called out on the carpet for it. Boss quit, position is open for promotion, but he has no chance now.
Anonymous whistleblower line is tempting, though, as long as you are super-positive it won't come back to you.
