Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Cool thing, he works at my school, so I can just meet him on campus to take a look at it. And theres atms all over, so that works out really well for me.

He said its a 2006-2007, but I can't seem to find anything about one from that year, so I have no clue what a really fair price would be to offer for it based on the groupo it has. ****.

I flaked. I tried doing some research on the bike, and I couldn't find a single thing. So, with now idea what a legit price for it would be, based on age and all that stuff, I don't feel 100% comfortable going for it. Feel like an ******* about it, but I'm not about to spend that kind of money when I'm not absolutely sure about what I'm doing. Oh well I guess.

Bikes: Bike Count: Rising.

I wouldn't worry about it. If it doesn't feel right it is best not to go for it.

Here's a spec list for the CAAD8. Pretty sure this is it in race red.

Should I not bother holding back my laughter at the presta valve problem thread in the 41?

I don't know how you have that much control... hahaha.

I have no idea how some newbie's torn valve can turn in to a religious argument between schrader and presta.

Bikeforums gold.

Anyhow, I have been pondering the idea of getting rid of the dogma 2 and getting something else. You can say I must be MADone.

The same frameset is on ebay right now so the price might give you a little bit of an idea.

Yea, I saw that, but it didn't tell me anymore than I already knew, which was diddly. Some other time I guess.
