Whats up with iro mark v fork?

What the hell is with this crap? Ive built literally hundreds of bikes for customers and tonight i had a chance to build up my iro mark v bought 2 yrs back. Boy wish i pulled it out earlier, what is up with the front fork? Cant put any brake on it where it doesnt rub and looks decent (i have a parts bin t0 die for). For years all i heard was how great tony was...guess you have to be when you sell crap. Tony is a moron for selling this crap!!! And no my vintage tracks hang on the wall and this was a rider.

You may have gotten a defective fork, it can always happen. I've heard nothing but great thing about IRO and Tony as a whole.

Bikes: IRO Mark V Pro with FBM Sword fork, Ridley Oval,

Seems like you're doing quite a bit of venting for what is a cheap fixed gear frame. I in fact love my Mark V Pro, but the first thing I changed was the front fork, not because there was any problem with it but just because, I prefer my FBM Sword fork instead. But unfortunately, you can just be unlucky and get something defective and it's just your bad luck. It happens to all of us. I would email them, they still might be willing to help you out and replace the fork. They have a new Mark V Pro fork that has a 30mm rake and uses better tubing than the other stock forks.

Are you using a tire too big for the specs of the fork?

Bikes: IRO SS / Trek 2.1 / Trek 5.1

I built up my IRO Mark V two years ago, when I bought it, and had no issues with installing a front brake. Been riding the dog balls outta' it for the two years since, and still have no issues.

You are very upset and called Tony bad names. He has good customer service. Ask him if he can send you a replacement for free or a small fee. It is kind of weird that you didn't assemble the bike for two years, though.
